Kahoot Refuses Membership Cancellation Despite 14-Day Right To Withdraw
I signed up for the Kahoot program as an individual user, but when I tried to exercise my 14-day right of cancellation, I was told that because the account was considered for “business use,” cancellation was not possible.
This makes no sense. The company itself states that an annual subscription can be canceled. Even if a fee were to be charged, it should logically be based on the monthly rate, not the entire year. Instead, Kahoot is unfairly charging the full annual amount and denying the consumer’s legal right to withdraw.
I am demanding that my 14-day cancellation right be respected and that I receive a fair refund in line with consumer protection laws. If a usage fee is to be deducted, it should be limited to the monthly rate only—not the full annual fee.
