Taxi Driver Drove Aggressively Toward Me on Pedestrian Crosswalk in Istanbul

On November 6, 2024, at 08:26, right in front of 'Makbul Kuruyemiş' on Maslak Avenue in Bağcılar, Istanbul, a yellow taxi with the license plate 34 TEA 79 sped towards pedestrians, ignoring the crosswalk and sign that were clearly visible. The driver yelled, "Can't you see the car coming, man?" like he thought he was in the right. I almost got run over in a spot that's supposed to be for pedestrians, and I'm disabled. This kind of behaviour was very careless and risky, especially in an area that's supposed to keep people safe. I'm making a complaint because I think something needs to be done to prevent this from happening again. The way this driver acted was not okay.
