Aras Kargo Vehicle Caused an Accident and Fled Without Taking Responsibility

On December 3, 2024, between 5:58 PM and 6:00 PM, a vehicle with the license plate 06 DH ****, allegedly rented by the Aras Kargo Natoyolu branch, caused an accident involving my car and my fiancée, E.B.Ö., on Natoyolu Street in front of the Can-Hat taxi stand. The vehicle entered the main road from a side street in the opposite direction of traffic flow, forcing the car in front of me to brake suddenly. Despite maintaining a safe following distance, this caused me to collide with the car ahead. After the accident, the vehicle fled the scene. We have camera footage of the incident. Through the Natoyolu branch manager, T.A., we identified the driver and confirmed the license plate. The driver admitted knowing about the incident but claimed it was unrelated to him, stating he had lent the vehicle with the Aras Kargo logo to someone else for two hours. Manager T.A. reported this to the Aras Kargo Regional Manager, but we received no response regarding the incident or the damages to our car. The driver, however, responded with an indifferent attitude, saying, "Complain wherever you want." The accident caused financial damage to my car and reduced its value. We have initiated legal action and will ensure the driver faces the heaviest penalties under KTK 46/2-h, 47/1-d, and TCK 179/3-a. Photos from the accident are attached.
