iPhone 17 Pro Max Frame Color Fading - Warranty Denied

March 20 4:35 PM267

On 12 November 2025, I purchased an orange iPhone 17 Pro Max 512 GB from the Apple store. After approximately four months of normal use, the orange frame of the phone started to turn pink over the last week. When I took the device to the store where I bought it, they first told me that they would contact abroad and get back to me. Later, they stated that this situation was “customer fault” and requested ₺18,000 from me today for a case replacement. I do not accept being asked to pay for such a color change on a newly purchased phone that is still under warranty and which I consider clearly to be a production or material defect. I find it unfair and completely contrary to customer satisfaction that the cost of a problem arising from the product itself is reflected onto the user. I request that my device be replaced with a new one free of charge and that the process I have experienced and my grievance be taken into account during the evaluation.

The color of my device changed, and when I took it to the store, they claimed it was user error and demanded ₺18,000. They said it was out of warranty, there was no proper communication, and I am not satisfied at all.
