My iPhone 16 Pro, which I purchased directly from Apple, is only three months old, yet it has completely stopped turning on since yesterday. The device shut down on its own and has not powered back on since. It has not been dropped, exposed to liquid, or subjected to any physical damage.
I took the device to the Apple Store at Zorlu Center, where I was informed that it would be sent to the repair depot for inspection. However, when I later checked the status through Apple Support, I was told that there had supposedly been unauthorized activity detected on my device, and that for this reason it was considered out of warranty and I would be required to pay for the repair. This is unacceptable, as the phone was purchased brand new and has never undergone any repair, service, or third-party intervention. There has absolutely been no unauthorized modification.
I do not accept that a three-month-old device with no prior intervention can be excluded from warranty coverage under the claim of “unauthorized activity.” I am requesting that my device be re-examined thoroughly and objectively, that the fault not be attributed to the user, and that my phone be repaired free of charge or, if possible, replaced at no cost.
