iPhone 16 Pro Overheating And Screen Line Issue Ignored By Apple
On January 6, 2025, I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro from Apple for ₺88,778. On October 2, after plugging it in to charge, vertical lights and lines appeared on the screen when it was turned on, and the device also experienced overheating issues. I delivered the device to the service center on October 6, and a record was created under IMEI number 359860309205015. On October 27, I received a message from the service center stating that the screen had been replaced. However, since my device is only 7 months old, I was concerned that the overheating problem was dismissed without proper inspection, with the response “no issue found.” When I contacted Apple customer service, no solution was offered, and I was told to “consult a lawyer if you have one.” I request that my device be replaced under warranty, as I want both my grievance resolved and assurance of the device’s safety.
