IKEA Sent a Damaged Item and Expects Me to Return It Despite Being Pregnant

Dear IKEA Packaging Team, it seems there is a lack of understanding regarding basic principles of physics in your packaging approach. Leaving the middle section of heavy items unsupported causes them to break during transit and arrive damaged. As a pregnant woman, I find it unreasonable and impossible to comply with your instructions to repackage such a heavy item and ship it back myself. While the delivery person might be capable of handling such weight, I am not. Attempting to lift or repackage this defective product poses a serious risk to my pregnancy, including the possibility of losing my baby. I request that the damaged item be collected from my doorstep and replaced in the same manner it was delivered. It is unfair to place the burden of your packaging oversight on your customers. I have already submitted a replacement request, and the defective item is ready for collection. This is a matter of safety and responsibility, and I urge you to address your mistake promptly.
