IKEA Office Chair Order Delayed For Days With No Shipping Update or Support

On November 3, 2025, I placed an order for an office chair through IKEA’s official website (Order No: 120311257186556). My order was supposed to be delivered from the IKEA warehouse in Kocaeli to Istanbul. Normally, online purchases are shipped the next day, but despite several days passing, there has been no progress or shipment update. Therefore, I called customer service at 444 4 532 to ask about the status of my order. I was told that orders are shipped within 3 business days, and that since my delivery address in Istanbul is considered “out of town” from the Kocaeli warehouse, delivery could take up to 5 business days. However, this explanation is not acceptable to me. Even though I paid a total of ₺7,300 (₺6,500 for the product and ₺800 for the delivery fee) by credit card, there has been no update and the product has not even been shipped yet. Furthermore, customer service offered no solution or alternative. I did not expect such slow and indifferent service from a well-known brand like IKEA. I request that my order be shipped immediately and that the delivery process be expedited. Otherwise, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
