I’ve Waited 15 Days for Visa Approval After iData Submission with No Update
On April 24, I submitted my documents at the iData office in Altunizade, Istanbul for a visa application. It has now been 15 days, and I’m still waiting for visa approval with no update or explanation.
Just getting the appointment took 4 months—an unbelievably long wait for something so basic. And now, even after completing the submission, we’re left in limbo without any clarity on how much longer this will take.
This level of delay and lack of transparency is extremely frustrating. All of our travel plans are now disrupted because there’s no reliable timeline. It’s impossible to plan anything when the system doesn’t even provide status updates after such long waiting periods.
As a Turkish citizen, I’m exhausted by how much we are made to suffer through these processes. We are constantly left without answers, while our time, energy, and opportunities are wasted.
