iData Delayed My Italy Visa for Over 2.5 Months While My Friend Got Approved
Hello, I had an appointment with iData for Italy on July 10. I submitted all my documents. My travel date starts on October 4, 2024. It's been 2.5 months, yet I haven't received any rejection or acceptance. I'm emailing the consulate but getting no response, and their phones don’t even ring. I explain the situation to iData, but they don’t provide any information. They say they can't confirm anything due to the workload; it could come after my travel date or before, but they won’t say for sure. Then why do you give appointments to people? Why has the Italian consulate made an agreement with iData for Turkey? A simple email to your consulate or a communication you establish would be much more effective than what I can do. I only have today and tomorrow left, and I'm facing financial and emotional distress due to hotel, flight, iData fees, etc. By the way, I went to my appointment on July 10 with my friend. We were supposed to travel together. Despite submitting our documents at the same time, my friend received her approval a month ago, and I’m still waiting. It doesn’t seem to follow any order; I have no idea how decisions are being made. I’m starting to think my documents, including my passport, have been lost. This is nothing short of a disaster. You are the ones causing the congestion, and yet you’re giving appointments without helping those facing these kinds of issues. Is your goal just to create new victims while taking people’s money? I wish they had partnered with a different company; iData has been completely disappointing.
