On October 3, 2024, I submitted my application through the iData system for a tourist visa to Germany. It has now been 7 months, and I still haven’t received an appointment date. No progress, no updates—just silence.
This excessive delay is creating serious problems. Because there’s no scheduled date, I can’t book flights, arrange accommodation, or make any concrete plans. The uncertainty is making the entire process impossible to manage.
Attempts to reach the iData call center have also been unsuccessful. There’s no way to speak to a real person or get any reliable information. This kind of customer experience is deeply frustrating, especially considering that my previous travel history is clean and my application should be straightforward.
I’m requesting that my appointment be assigned within a reasonable and predictable timeframe, and that I receive clear communication regarding the status. The current system is causing unnecessary hardship and undermining confidence in the visa process.
