Delays in Italy Tourist Visa Process – iData Not Providing Updates
I’m starting to feel like Italy just doesn’t want tourists anymore. It seems like travel agencies and consulates are working together to delay responses until the last possible minute to prevent trip cancellations. Even after the travel dates have passed, there’s no update, and I can’t help but feel this is intentional. Many people are stuck in this situation. Individual travelers can cancel their accommodations and transport, but those who booked through a tour company are unable to get refunds once the time limit has passed.
Our tour is scheduled for October 14, but when we contact the travel agency, they tell us we’ll get a response on the last business day (October 11). However, the person assisting us during the visa process mentioned it would take 15-20 days. Italy is clearly making this process more difficult, and it feels like they just don’t want tourists. I’m extremely frustrated and want immediate clarification on this issue!
