My Passport Is Stuck with iData for 30 Days After Italy Visa Application

September 30, 2024 6:27 PM56

I applied for an Italy visa through iData on 09/03/2024, but despite my travel date approaching, I still haven’t received any updates on my passport, even after 30 days. Every time I call iData, they blame the consulate and offer no real assistance. They just repeat the same excuse about “high volume.” iData is supposed to facilitate the visa process, and we pay them a significant fee for this service, but they’re failing to deliver. In the past, you could submit your documents directly to the consulate, but now iData is supposed to check everything. Yet, they can’t even manage that! As a government employee, my annual leave is being wasted, and I’m suffering financially and emotionally. If there were other intermediary options besides iData, I wouldn’t have chosen them. I deeply regret using iData for my visa application. They need to resolve this immediately!
