Broken Huawei Band 6: Warranty Denied, Outrageous Repair Cost

My Huawei Band 6 smart wristband broke while it was still under warranty. I sent it to Ouno Servis, which is an authorized Huawei service center. They told me it would cost a fortune to fix, which surprised me, and said that liquid damage wasn't covered by the warranty. When I told Huawei what was going on, they told me that the product did not have a warranty against damage from liquids. But both the Huawei website and the product box made it clear that it could handle water. The service center's repair fee is almost six times the price of a brand-new unit. If you're thinking about buying something from Huawei, you should think twice. They offer no service support at all.
