My Hotpoint Ariston washing machine, which is about 4–5 years old and has a 6–7 kg capacity, has a broken door-lock latch. I live in Narlıdere, İzmir, and the machine is registered under the name “Selvi Demirtaş.” I’m not able to confirm the purchase date or warranty details, but the warranty is most likely expired.

I contacted several service providers who claimed to be authorized. Even though the issue is very clear, they quoted me extremely high prices ranging from $35–$59 USD, and none of them provided a definite or transparent cost. Because of the high prices and unclear information, I did not create a service request or make any payment.
