Hotels.com Booking Canceled By Hotel




I booked a beachfront hotel for three persons with breakfast included through Hotels.com. After paying with my credit card, I received an email with the receipt. Everything appeared perfect. Half an hour later, I called the hotel to confirm my reservation, and they said it was in their system. However, the hotel owner informed me that they do not take two-day bookings and require a minimum of four days, and that breakfast is not included. Because of the cheap price, they canceled the reservation in their system, insisting that we cancel it ourselves. Despite having the receipt and all necessary documentation, I am unable to visit the hotel I reserved and cannot obtain a refund. I'm in a terrible situation and need aid.
