Home Depot Stock And Wrong Shipping Issues
I recently purchased a new home and, owing to limited local shopping alternatives, turned to the Home Depot online to equip it. Over the course of four months, I spent almost $4,500 on various goods but returned about $1,300. Around $500 in merchandise was returned as a result of Home Depot shipping erroneous items or failing to deliver items at all. The difficulty started when I called to inquire about an undeliverable order. When I contacted Home Depot, I was instructed to call another number via email. However, when I did, I was told that my "return" was disallowed owing to a perceived high frequency of returns, despite the fact that I was requesting payment for an undelivered item. They promised to provide me a report on my returns and suggested I file a dispute by email, with a response period of 1-3 weeks. I just wrote the email and am expecting their response, however, I am skeptical of receiving a refund. It's disheartening to learn that customers are flagged for returns without prior notice.
