HDI Home Insurance - Denial of Coverage for Leaking Toilet
During my recent conversation with HDI Insurance, the company I have my full home insurance with, I mentioned that my toilet and concealed cistern were leaking. However, they declined to assist me, stating their inability to provide any help. It can be quite frustrating when you've invested a significant amount of money in home insurance, only to find that some companies struggle to provide the assistance you need. Such a disappointment!

HDI participation insurance did not cover the water leak that occurred inside my toilet despite taking so much money for home insurance. The reason given was that damages inside the toilet are not included in the policy. Home insurances are just a trap set up for money, friends. If it won't even cover an incident as small as the damages inside the toilet, which took a week to deal with, why should we even get insurance?

They are still calling me to inform that my file has been rejected. I live in Diyarbakır, and they assign an expert from Adana to me. They rejected my file based on the report of an expert who could determine from Adana that my wall tiles were swollen and water was leaking into the wall in Diyarbakır. See you at the Consumer Rights committee. I never recommend HDI and HDI participation insurance. You cannot get what you are entitled to. They fight to their last drop of blood to avoid giving you what you are entitled to in your file.
