I Did Not Renew Subscription but HBO Max Tries to Charge Me

I previously had a subscription to BluTV, and after my membership ended, the service was taken over by HBO Max. Since March 24, 2026, HBO Max has been attempting to renew my old subscription without my knowledge or consent, making repeated failed payment attempts on my card.

I spoke with a representative from their call center for about an hour. I was told that no active subscription appears under my account on HBO Max and that they could not access my information. Despite this, they still asked me to provide my card details to resolve the issue. Since my card was renewed and the CVV code has changed, the payment attempts are currently failing. However, the fact that my card is being targeted for charges without my authorization is extremely concerning and creates a serious lack of trust.

I request that all unauthorized payment attempts related to this non-existent subscription be stopped immediately, that my personal and card information be completely removed from HBO Max systems, and that I be provided with a clear written explanation regarding this issue.
