On March 25, 2026, I noticed that a charge of $9 was made to my Garanti Bank credit/debit card under the name HBO Max without my knowledge or consent. I do not have any subscription, active account, or payment authorization with HBO Max.
As soon as I realized this was an unauthorized transaction, I immediately contacted Garanti Bank and canceled my card. The fact that my card information could be accessed so easily and used for a service I have never subscribed to is extremely concerning and has seriously damaged my trust.
I request an urgent investigation into how and under what supposed subscription this transaction was made. I also demand that the $9 charged without my permission be fully refunded. Additionally, I expect a clear and written explanation regarding how my card information was obtained and used without my consent.
