On January 15, 2025, I purchased a pair of jeans from an H&M store. I wore them once, and during that first wear, I was told by people around me that there was a visible stain or discoloration on the back. Embarrassed, I returned to the store to report the issue and request an inspection.
At the store, the cashier claimed they were authorized to make the final decision, and dismissed my concern by saying that such discolorations are normal in this style of jeans. I explained that the jeans looked like they had a stain and were unwearable in public, but the staff insisted they would not assist further.
I also reached out to H&M customer service via email, but they said nothing could be done because it was an in-store purchase—completely ignoring their responsibility for product quality.
