H&M Pants Stained My Shoes—Sold Defective Product Without Warning

On April 28, 2025, I purchased a pair of pants from an H&M retail store. Just two days later, I wore the pants and noticed that the dye from the fabric transferred onto my shoes, completely ruining them. This is clearly a case of a defective product that should never have been placed on the sales floor without proper warnings or quality control.
The pants stained my shoes so badly that they are now unusable, and when I reported the issue to the store, I was met with indifference and no sense of responsibility. Despite the fact that H&M is clearly at fault for selling a faulty item, the store staff refused to take my complaint seriously or offer any form of compensation.
I also have a recorded phone call with customer service detailing my experience and request for a resolution. H&M, I expect immediate action—either refund or replace my damaged shoes and take accountability for selling a product that should have never passed your quality checks. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed promptly.
