Grundig TV Stopped Supporting Netflix After 7 Years Leaving Me Without Key Features
The message in the image appears on my Grundig TV, which I purchased about 7 years ago. It says Netflix will no longer be supported as of November 11. How can you stop supporting an app on a product you sold with a Netflix logo on the remote? Are we supposed to throw away a perfectly good TV every seven years and buy a new one? When I bought this TV, no one mentioned that the apps would become unusable in a few years. I chose this product specifically for its features and apps. I’m not interested in any arbitrary restrictions on your part at this point. Please provide the necessary updates to resolve this issue for affected customers.
Here is the translated text: "Dear Sir/Madam, it seems that my complaint has reached you, but I guess they haven't read what I wrote. I am saying that I want to use Netflix on my TV. They say, 'Let's direct a service to take a look,' and I agree, but they say there is a 500 TL service fee. I am saying the TV is not broken; they have removed the application version, which is not legal and is an arbitrary practice, but I can't explain my problem to anyone. Strangely, the TV stopped working 2 days after the application was removed. Currently, I can't use the TV, I don't want a service, and I don't want the application. I guess we'll buy a TV once every 10 years..."
