My LG TV No Longer Supports Netflix Even Though It Came Preinstalled

I recently received a message on my LG TV that says: “Netflix is no longer available on this device. Please visit Netflix for a list of supported devices.” This is absolutely unacceptable. The TV came with Netflix preinstalled, and now I’m being told it’s no longer supported?

How does that make any sense? Are we expected to go out and buy a brand-new TV just because a major app like Netflix suddenly stops working? It’s beyond frustrating that LG and Netflix offer no real solution for this.

LG, this is your responsibility too. You sold a smart TV with streaming functionality—and now, one of the key apps no longer works without warning. I expect either a software update, an alternate access solution, or some form of compensation.

Consumers shouldn’t be left with outdated hardware just because companies decide to pull support. Fix this or at least offer real alternatives.
