Netflix No Longer Supported on My Philips TV After 10 Years

November 23, 2024 1:30 AM58

I’ve been using my Philips smart TV to stream movies and shows on platforms like Netflix for years. Recently, I was informed that Netflix will no longer work on my TV. This seems to be due to the fact that the TV is over 10 years old, but it’s frustrating and feels arbitrary.

A product should remain supported for a reasonable time, and now I’m being forced to purchase a new device to continue using Netflix. This situation highlights the hidden costs of technology, where users are left stranded with outdated products despite their functionality.

I’m incredibly disappointed and plan to cancel my Netflix subscription. Despite its picture quality, I will also avoid purchasing Philips products in the future. Both companies should take responsibility for this issue and provide solutions for loyal customers like me.
