I experienced a significant issue with Green Motion during my car rental. As a loyal customer who has always returned cars clean and with more fuel than received, I feel deceived. Until yesterday, this company was my go-to for rentals in Istanbul, Ankara, and Bodrum. On June 14, 2024, I rented a Fiat Egea from Bodrum Milas Airport. Shortly after, I noticed minor scuff marks on the car’s sill. I contacted the company through their office lines to report it. They asked for photos and later assured me (via WhatsApp and phone, records available) that there was no problem and that the car was insured, with no need for a police report since the damage was minor.
On the return day, I handed back the car and switched to a smaller Renault Clio. Later, I received a call claiming that I had exceeded my mini-repair allowance of ₺10,000 by ₺1,400 and that I needed to pay the full amount of ₺11,400. They quickly invoiced me and demanded payment. Despite my complaints to the office and headquarters, I paid the amount to avoid legal trouble. Afterward, I couldn’t reach any responsible parties. The head office, under the guise of a big company, forcibly collected this payment from me. Even though I had accident and repair packages, this company took advantage of me and left me feeling cheated.
