Goldcar Refused to Provide Rental Car Due to Troy Card, Paid Double Elsewhere
I booked a car with Goldcar one month in advance, but when I arrived to pick it up between August 16-19, 2024, they refused to give me the vehicle. The reason? They didn’t accept my Troy card. This caused me significant inconvenience, forcing me to rent a car from another company at twice the price. I’m deeply frustrated by this experience, as it left me stranded and paying much more than planned. I do not forgive Goldcar for this, and I expect them to take responsibility for the situation. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope they address this issue promptly.
