I Received USD Instead of Euro for My Global Blue Italy Tax Refund

During my recent trip to Italy, I completed all the necessary steps to process my Tax Free refund through Global Blue. At the time of the transaction, it was clearly stated that I would be refunded €8.25. However, instead of receiving this amount in euros as promised, I was refunded only $8.20 USD to my credit card — without any prior notice or consent regarding a currency change.

This kind of arbitrary conversion is unacceptable and feels like an intentional tactic to reduce the refund amount. Global Blue has no right to make a profit by switching currencies without informing the customer.

I demand that the correct amount of €8.25 be refunded to me immediately. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will not hesitate to take legal action. Let this complaint be considered official communication. I expect a swift and fair resolution.
