Getir Delivered Late and Sent Incorrect Spicy Order Despite My Immediate Call
The order was placed through Getir by my daughter. Despite calling customer service immediately, we were told the order could not be canceled because the restaurant had already started preparing it. Strangely enough, the supposedly "prepared" order arrived a full 40 minutes later. When I mentioned this to the delivery person, they admitted, "It was just prepared, and I brought it." Additionally, the order was incorrect. Although I ordered one spicy and one mildly spicy item, both arrived as spicy. When I contacted customer service again to explain that the product was supposed to be mildly spicy but was overly spicy, they claimed to have checked with the restaurant, which insisted they sent one mildly spicy item. Should I believe my taste or what the restaurant claims? It’s clear that Getir has no control over the restaurants and cannot enforce any standards, leaving customers in difficult situations. With no accountability or action taken, I believe this approach will inevitably lead to losing customers one by one.
