I had a very negative experience with eBay. Even though I used my Garanti Bank credit card to make the purchase, I didn't receive any customer service afterwards. I raised a concern about this matter. I was informed that the dispute process may take anywhere from 120 to 160 days, and as a result of this transaction, I will receive a refund in ₺. I attempted to address my concerns by filing a complaint or making a request, but unfortunately, I was informed that no such option was available. As a result, I am reaching out here to express my issue. At the time of my purchase, the exchange rate was ₺32.5 per dollar. Currently, the exchange rate stands at ₺34, and there is no way to predict what it will be in 120 days. It appears that the bank is attempting to benefit from the difference in exchange rates, which is negatively impacting me. I would like the refunded amount to be credited to my account in dollars. If that is not feasible, I request that it be converted to ₺ using the exchange rate at the time of refund and then transferred to my account.
