G2A Sold Me a Used Steam Key That Doesn’t Work

On March 4, 2026, at around 10:05 PM, I purchased “Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey (PC) - Steam KEY - global” from a seller named Arcticdr0p on G2A. I paid approximately €7 using my debit card. After completing the purchase, I entered the activation key into my Steam account, but I received an error stating that the product had already been activated on another account, and I was unable to use the game.
I have been dealing with this issue for about 12 hours and have tried to contact both the seller and customer support through the site’s messaging system, but I have not received any response. The Stanley bot keeps directing me to contact the seller, but despite sending messages, I have been ignored and have not received any replies.
I am not requesting a refund—I simply want a valid, unused Steam key as a replacement. Since the product I purchased turned out to be already used and I have been unable to reach support, I am requesting that a new, working key be assigned to my account or that I be provided with a valid replacement code for the same game.
