My experience on Freebird flight FH808 (Belgrade-Istanbul) has left me rather annoyed and let down. Originally planned for 21:30, the flight was postponed, hence we were only let to board at 01:00.
Once aboard, things become much more dire. Three distinct power outages in the aircraft set off passenger terror. The crew offered no justification. Three of the passengers experienced panic attacks and felt so insecure they insisted on getting off the plane. They deboarded when the pilot failed to persuade them to remain.
Luggage had to be examined again as they departed, adding more delays. The operation went so slowly that anti-icing sprays caused the cabin to go airless. Not even food, water, or appropriate help was given in spite of the protracted delay.
We were due to land in Istanbul at 01:15 local time after waiting four hours at the airport, however we did not arrive until 05:00! I tried to get in touch with Freebird Airlines, but no one responds from any official level.
Freedom, this is unacceptable! I want pay for the delay, poor communication, and dangerous onboard circumstances. Correct this right away.
