Our Freebird Airlines flight from Antalya to Düsseldorf, which was scheduled for 8:00 AM, did not depart until 7:00 PM. At 2:00 AM, we received a message stating that the flight had been postponed due to operational reasons, but no one was available to provide further information. Later, at 5:30 PM, when we arrived at the gate, we were told that the flight was delayed again, and we were directed to a café for refreshments.
However, when we got there, we had to wait in line and show our tickets, and were told we could only have one drink — either water or soda. Naturally, everyone was upset, but there was still no airline representative to speak to.
When we were finally allowed to board, we then had to wait another hour inside the plane before takeoff. To make things worse, the flight landed in Cologne instead of Düsseldorf, and we were transported to Düsseldorf by bus in the middle of the night. When I finally received my luggage, it was damaged and partially broken.
This entire experience was extremely unprofessional, exhausting, and disappointing.
