I bought a house in December 2021 that had a bunch of Franke appliances already installed. These included air conditioners, a dishwasher, a microwave, a built-in set, a sink, and a faucet. Because the developer, who was a Franke dealer and built this house, I didn't think I would have any problems with the appliances.
I found out that 3 multi-zone air conditioners weren't working. I reached out to both the developer and Franke support, but they kept making me wait. I found out from Franke that they don't offer warranties for any of their products, including air conditioners. The warranty for the air conditioners began on July 3, 2020. The developer said they sent a request to Franke's main office, and the warranty would begin from the day the house was bought. They couldn't fix the warranty problem.
I reached out to Franke Service, and M****, who works for Franke, was really helpful. M**** noticed that the air conditioners were low on gas and suggested that there might have been no gas to begin with or there could be problems with the pipeline.
So, it seems like there might be a problem with the air conditioner's pipeline. It could be due to a crack in the pipes. Unfortunately, I found out about the problems with the pipeline for the air conditioners, and then I was hit with another surprise. According to Franke's report, which was written by their representative on July 3rd, 2020, it says that the installation was done on the infrastructure provided by the construction company. It was given to me in good working condition. Even though the Franke company said they delivered and installed the product without any issues, I believe that the problem with the air conditioner's internal pipeline may not be the customer's fault.
So basically, my air conditioners aren't working and there seems to be a problem with the pipeline, even though they were supposed to be in good working condition when I got them. If the authorized service didn't do the installation themselves, why don't they come and do it now? I don't know if Franke Service gave the pipes for the air conditioners to the construction company to install, or if they installed them themselves. If they fixed it themselves, they should replace the faulty pipeline, and my air conditioners should start working. If the construction company randomly installed the pipes, which I highly doubt, then Franke Service should be held accountable for the error, right? If the construction company installed the pipes themselves, which I doubt, Franke should definitely be held accountable for providing the pipes that were not used.
