My Franke refrigerator, installed in July 2022, has already broken down in less than three years. I paid more than competing brands expecting superior durability and quality, but Franke has turned out to be a complete disappointment.
At first, the authorized service told me that the mainboard was defective and quoted too much for replacement. I agreed to pay and asked them to install it. When they came back to fit the new part, the refrigerator still didn’t work. Then they claimed that the motor had burned out as well — supposedly because it was connected to the faulty mainboard.
Now they’re saying the motor must also be replaced. Honestly, if both the mainboard and motor of a refrigerator fail within three years, what’s left? Just the glass shelves and plastic frame.
My complaint isn’t about the service team — it’s directly against Franke as a brand. A refrigerator this expensive and branded as “Swiss technology” shouldn’t fail like a cheap, low-quality product.
I demand that Franke urgently provide a solution or replacement, because this is clearly a manufacturing defect. If the issue is not resolved, I will file an official complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board. I won’t let this go.
