Ford Tourneo Courier Engine Failure After 6 Months and Replacement Demand
I purchased a brand-new 2025 Ford Tourneo Courier just six months and 13 days ago, but the vehicle has already suffered a serious engine failure. Experiencing such a major mechanical problem within such a short period has caused me significant financial hardship and raised serious concerns about the vehicle's safety and reliability.
When I took the vehicle to an authorised Ford service center, I was initially informed that the engine would be replaced under warranty. However, I was subsequently offered only TRY 100,000 as compensation. I was also told that Ford could simply repair the existing engine and return the vehicle to me in its repaired condition.
I find this proposed solution completely unacceptable. I purchased a brand-new vehicle with the expectation of receiving a reliable and defect-free product. Having the engine fail within just over six months is a serious manufacturing or quality concern, and I should not be expected to accept a repaired vehicle or an inadequate monetary offer as a resolution.
I therefore demand that Ford acknowledge the vehicle's defect and provide an appropriate remedy by either accepting the vehicle back and issuing a full refund or replacing it with a brand-new, defect-free vehicle of the same model. I do not consider a basic engine repair or the proposed TRY 100,000 payment to be an acceptable solution.
I request that Ford urgently investigate this matter, fully honour its warranty obligations and take the necessary steps to resolve my complaint without further delay. I expect my rights as a customer to be respected and the significant inconvenience and loss of confidence caused by this premature engine failure to be properly addressed.
