Two New Citroen Berlingos Need Engine and Transmission Replacement
I own two Citroën Berlingo vehicles that are both approximately 6 months old and have very low mileage, around 7,000 km. Despite this, I was informed that one of the vehicles requires a transmission replacement and the other a complete engine replacement. For vehicles that are this new and with such low mileage, I find these failures unacceptable and I do not accept the option of repair as a solution. On 25 May, I delivered both vehicles to Citroën Adım Otomotiv on the same day. Up to now, I have not received any clear information or a detailed explanation regarding the cause of these serious faults. Each time I am only told that the vehicles will be checked, but no concrete result, no written report and no clear solution has been shared with me. No fee has been requested from me so far, however, the lack of transparency and the seriousness of the problems in two separate new vehicles have completely shaken my trust in the brand. I request that both vehicles be evaluated urgently and that I be given a clear and written explanation as to why such serious engine and transmission problems have arisen in two 6‑month‑old, low‑mileage vehicles. Since I do not accept repair for these defects in almost new vehicles, I demand a definitive solution such as vehicle replacement or a process that will fully protect my consumer rights. I kindly request that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible and that I be contacted with an official response.
