I purchased a Flydubai ticket for a Dubai–Istanbul flight, but I mistakenly selected the wrong destination. When I called for assistance, the airline’s representative gave me incorrect information, saying that the ticket could not be refunded or canceled. This same issue happened to me last year — due to a simple mistake, they refused to cancel my ticket, and I lost my money. When it happened again, I couldn’t believe such a basic issue was still being handled so poorly.
Later, I contacted Flydubai directly and learned that the ticket could, in fact, be canceled. However, even though the airline processed the cancellation, Ucuza Bilet (the travel agency I booked through) failed to complete the refund or cancellation on their end. It’s unbelievable that such a large travel company would act this irresponsibly and provide misleading information to customers.
