Fissler Pressure Cooker Steel Exterior Is Kind of Cracking
We bought a Fissler brand pressure cooker, and just after two years, there's a rust issue on the steel exterior. We sent it to the authorized service, and despite the product booklet stating a 3-year warranty, the service claims it's only 2 years and insists on a fee for replacement. This is disappointing, considering our previous experience with a Tefal pressure cooker, which lasted 12 years without any steel issues. Fissler has been a complete letdown, both in terms of quality and service. I'll never buy Fissler again.
Mr. Yavuz A., The product you purchased on 06.08.2021, which has been in use for over 2 years and came to service on 22.11.2023, has been examined. It was found that there is a hole in the valve gasket, the euromatik and lid gasket have reached the end of their service life, and there is user‑induced damage on the lower pot body. Missing parts, physical damages (such as breaks, cracks, tears, impacts, etc.), and gasket components are not covered under the warranty. The warranty conditions are detailed in the user manual. As stated in your Fissler product warranty certificate, Fissler products are guaranteed against mechanical faults for 2 years, but user errors are not covered by the warranty. Dear Customer, you can submit your complaints, suggestions, and requests regarding products and services via the contact form link on the website or through our consumer advisory hotline. Best regards,
Mr. Yavuz A, For products sold in Turkey, warranty certificates and invoice dates are essential. The duration stated in the user manual is the maximum duration and is printed this way because it varies according to the warranty periods provided by different countries. Since user manuals do not serve as warranty certificates, products are sold with Warranty Certificates, and the warranty period is clearly stated as 2 years.
While the product is being sold, it is declared that the warranty period is 3 years, and this is clearly and visibly stated on the product's box and in its booklet. However, when there is an issue with the product, saying that the warranty period is 2 years would, to put it mildly, mislead the customer. Moreover, claiming that the warranty periods of products vary by country is an insult to people's intelligence. Changing the warranty period, which the manufacturer has set as 3 years, based on the country is also disrespectful to the people of my country.
