Fake Fisher-Price Website Scammed Customers Using a Similar Domain Name
On August 6, 2026, I searched online to purchase a Fisher-Price piano play mat. I made a purchase through the website “https://www.fisherpriceturkiye.com/”, which appeared in Google search results and had a domain name that looked trustworthy. However, during the payment process, my card was charged twice in Singapore dollars, and as a result, my bank blocked my card for security reasons.
After this incident, I reviewed the website again and discovered that it was actually a fake website created for fraudulent purposes and had no connection to Fisher-Price. When I contacted Fisher-Price through their official channels, they confirmed that this website did not belong to them.
My main complaint is that this fake website uses a highly misleading domain name, appears near the top of Google search results when users search for Fisher-Price, and appears to have potentially harmed many consumers for a long time. Despite this, Fisher-Price has seemingly not taken sufficient legal or technical action against this fraudulent website. As a globally recognized brand, I expect Fisher-Price to take stronger and more visible steps to protect its brand identity and customers from fake and fraudulent websites.
I request that necessary actions be taken to address the harm I experienced, including possible legal steps on behalf of the brand and efforts to shut down or block access to this fraudulent website. I also expect Fisher-Price to adopt a more proactive approach to protect other consumers who may have experienced similar issues.
