Zara Charged Me After I Clicked on a Mystery Box Gift Ad I Trusted
On Friday morning, May 16, 2025, I saw a Zara advertisement online. It was promoting a "mystery box gift" campaign. A user named F**** A***** was advertising Zara and directed me to a link. The website that opened looked like Zara’s official site. Trusting this, I proceeded to make a payment using my card information and checked the privacy agreement box, believing there would be no issues. The payment was listed as €2, which converted to ₺86, but ₺90 was withdrawn from my account. Just when I thought the transaction was complete, I was redirected to the payment page again and asked to pay a second time. There were many positive user reviews, which seemed reassuring. However, I do not give permission for my card information to be used like this. I deeply regret what happened.
