Find My Kids Famio Charged Me but the App Did Not Work
I downloaded the Find My Kids Famio application from the Google Play Store on Thursday, May 28, 2026, and paid approximately $3 at 5:38 p.m. that same day. Despite completing the payment, I was unable to use the application in any way. The advertisement I saw stated that entering the phone number I wanted to track would be sufficient, but the app did not provide the service as advertised.
More importantly, after downloading the application, my bank informed me that there had been four unauthorized attempts to charge my credit card. After receiving a suspicious transaction warning, I contacted my bank’s customer service department and was told that the attempted charges were associated with Find My Kids. Because of this security concern, I was forced to cancel my credit card.
As a result, I was unable to use the application I paid for, and there were also repeated attempts to charge my card without my knowledge or permission. This situation has caused me serious inconvenience and security concerns.
Under the applicable consumer protection laws, I respectfully request a full refund of the approximately $3 I paid and the immediate cancellation of any Find My Kids subscription associated with my account. I also request written confirmation that no further charges will be attempted.
I reserve all of my legal rights to submit complaints and pursue the matter through the appropriate consumer protection and regulatory authorities if this issue is not resolved.
