Farfetch Advertises Free Returns But Charges to Ship Products Back

I purchased 2 items from Farfetch and I'm facing serious mistreatment. I bought 1 pair of shoes and 1 bag; the total was €330, with the shoes at €130 and the bag at €200. My items arrived at customs and customs demanded $1,160 in fees for these two products. I refused to accept this and wanted to return them.
The site advertises free returns everywhere, but that's not the reality; UPS requested approximately €400 as a return shipping fee. Additionally, with notary and other processing fees, there's approximately $870 more in charges. On top of that, you're also shipping the products back, creating a total loss of $1,450.
I've been struggling with this for days, and it's impossible to reach the company. I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee because nowhere does it state such fees for returns.
