I Can’t View or Cancel My Summer Island Maldives Expedia Booking Without Confirmation

I booked a stay at Summer Island Maldives Resort under my own name for the dates August 17–23 through Expedia, but I never received a confirmation email or any booking details. This left me in an extremely stressful situation, as I had no way to verify the reservation, access the itinerary, or manage my booking.

I reached out to the resort directly, and they confirmed that a reservation was indeed made under my name with booking number 2238408450 via Expedia. However, since I never got any confirmation or booking access through Expedia, I am unable to view, manage, or cancel this reservation myself.

This is unacceptable. I demand that Expedia immediately sends me a full confirmation email including all booking details and provides a simple and accessible way to cancel this reservation. If I had not contacted the hotel myself, I would not have even known the reservation existed.

Expedia must improve its communication and system reliability. When people spend thousands of ₺ for international reservations, being left in the dark is simply not an option. I expect a prompt resolution and full support to cancel this booking.
