On May 26, 2024, my personal belongings were stolen, and I noticed that a hotel reservation was made using my account on Hotels.com with my registered email address, based on my credit card transactions. It is extremely difficult to reach Hotels.com, and finding a representative is nearly impossible. After much effort, I received an email on June 3, 2024, stating that a refund would be processed by Expedia, which was credited to my credit card a few business days later. However, on July 21, 2024, the same amount was charged to my credit card again!
I cannot reach Hotels.com by phone or email, and their customer service is unresponsive on their website. The phone number they provided is an international line that does not connect.
I urgently request a refund for this transaction! How can you withdraw an amount from a customer’s credit card without any notification after already issuing a refund?
