If your global plan from eSIM io shows as installed but you’re getting no data after landing, follow these steps to get connected:
First, ensure your device’s “Mobile Data” line is set to the eSIM profile and that Data Roaming is turned on — many travel eSIMs require roaming to function abroad.
Also, restart your phone and if there’s still no connection, try manually selecting a local carrier network in Settings > Mobile Network.
If you still can’t get data, check in the eSIM io app that your plan is activated and has remaining data.
Then contact support with your device model, country of arrival, installation time and a screenshot of your account; have them verify the network provisioning.
If the problem remains unresolved, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie to raise awareness about the issue and inform others.
