On December 25, 2025, I signed up on Esim.io to purchase the New Year’s promotion for new users, which advertised a 5 GB global data package for $1.9. Although this promotion was clearly displayed on the website/app, after registering, no promotion appeared in my account.
I paid by credit card, but instead of being charged $1.9, $5 was deducted from my card. Despite this charge, my account shows only a cash balance, and with that balance I cannot purchase any global data package—not even 1 GB, let alone 5 GB. In other words, the promotion was not applied, and the amount charged cannot be used to activate any package.
I contacted Esim.io’s WhatsApp support line to report the issue, but I have not received any response. I was unable to benefit from the promotion and unable to get any support.
I request that Esim.io honor the New Year’s promotion as advertised and activate the 5 GB global data package for $1.9 on my account. Otherwise, I demand a refund of the $5 charged for a transaction that did not allow me to use any data package at all.
