On October 2, 2025, around 5:45 PM, I tried to purchase Points for Path of Exile through Epic Games on my PC in Mersin, Turkey. I attempted the payment 10–11 times using both my QNB debit card and credit card, but every time, I received the same error message:
“It seems something went wrong. For your safety, this transaction was declined. Please try another card or payment method.”
In none of these attempts was I redirected to my bank or prompted to enter a one-time password — meaning the 3D Secure step never occurred, and no payment was completed.
When I contacted Epic Games customer support, they gave me confusing and inconsistent answers — saying that my purchase was “pending approval,” that I should wait 24 hours without trying again, and that my payment method might “hold funds for up to 5 days.” They even mentioned that I might have “accidentally purchased the same item twice,” but couldn’t provide any order number or confirmation to back up their claim.
Currently, there’s no pending transaction visible in either my Epic account or bank account, yet they still can’t tell me clearly whether any payment was processed. What’s absurd is that they insist there’s a “pending order” even though no transaction ID or record exists.
I’m trying to make a legitimate purchase, yet the system repeatedly rejects my payment and fails to redirect me to the bank’s 3D Secure page. Meanwhile, your support team is asking me to wait based on vague “possibilities.” This is not a real solution. People don’t earn their money easily — if even a single cent is withdrawn from my account without authorization, I will take legal action.
