For the past three weeks, I haven’t been able to make a single purchase on Epic Games. I’ve tried using four different credit and debit cards, all from different banks. I confirmed with every bank that there’s no problem with my balance, my cards are enabled for online purchases, and there are no restrictions on the accounts.
Despite this, every attempt ends with the same frustrating message: “Declined for your security. Try a different card.” I’ve contacted Epic Games support more than five times, and every response is some copy-pasted line telling me to “wait 24 hours and try another card.” I already tried four—am I supposed to apply for new cards just to satisfy Epic’s broken system?
To make it worse, support agents respond in a completely unprofessional tone, using casual language like they’re texting a friend, not helping a frustrated customer. Their tone and approach are unacceptable for a company of this size.
Epic Games keeps blaming the banks, while the banks clearly state that the issue is on Epic’s end. I’ve been caught in this loop for far too long, and nothing is being resolved.
I demand that Epic Games fix this payment system issue immediately and offer proper, respectful customer service. I can’t spend a single ₺1 even though everything is in order on my side. This is beyond disappointing.
