Enza Home Sold Me Sofa Beds So Uncomfortable - My Guests Slept on the Floor
When purchasing the product from Enza Home, we specifically mentioned that we were expecting a baby and would have guests, which is why we preferred sofas that could turn into beds. We bought two 3-seater sofas that convert into beds, two armchairs, and an L-shaped sofa that also becomes a bed. Our baby was born last year, and when our guests (my parents) stayed over, they were so uncomfortable sleeping on the sofa beds that by the end of the first night, we had to lay a quilt on the floor. The next day, they told us that even though sleeping on the floor wasn’t comfortable either, it was still better than the sofa. All our relatives who visited to see the baby—my aunt, uncle, siblings—said they couldn’t sleep well the first night, and some even left after just one night. I tried it myself after the guests left and ended up going back to my own bed after tossing and turning for a few hours. It was truly an uncomfortable experience. You sink into the sofa, feel the frame underneath, and there’s almost no resistance. We had bought these sofas thinking we’d use them for 8–10 years when guests came over, but we called the authorized service for a possible return or exchange. The technician was extremely rude and contradicted what was said at the Enza store, claiming that these products weren’t designed for sleeping. When we asked why they convert into beds then, they vaguely said “for emergencies,” but they couldn’t explain why people preferred sleeping on the floor instead or why the sofas were so uncomfortable. I couldn’t even understand the explanation they gave. The company is welcome to ask the technicians what they said. I even openly invite them to test the sofas themselves—if they genuinely sleep well on them for one night, I’ll withdraw my entire complaint. Among everything I’ve ever purchased, this product tops the list as the worst in terms of value for money. Come test your product properly and explain how it turned out this way—if you can. Otherwise, I’ll burn these sofas in front of the store where I bought them. Doesn’t a company test its product at all before putting it on the market?
